At the Stakeholders’ Breakfast Meeting, Qn. Sandra Namirembe , Miss Climate Change Awareness Uganda, called for women to be placed at the centre of climate financing and the Just Energy Transition.

She highlighted the need to improve the availability, affordability and accessibility of clean cooking energy, especially for women in rural communities.

Energy transition is not only about how many watts we generate, it is about how many lives we improve.
