Oprah Winfrey is one of the most famous and successful women in the world today, but her childhood was very difficult.

1. Poor Childhood

Oprah was born on January 29, 1954, in Mississippi, USA. She grew up in extreme poverty.

She lived with her grandmother.

Sometimes they did not have enough food.

She even wore clothes made from potato sacks because they were very poor.

2. Difficult Early Life

When Oprah was still young, she moved to live with her mother in a poor neighborhood. Life was not easy and she faced many struggles during her childhood.

3. Education Changed Her Life

Oprah loved reading, speaking, and learning.

She did very well in school.

Her talent in public speaking helped her win scholarships.

4. Beginning of Her Career

She started working in radio and television while still young. Later she became a TV host and started her famous program:

5. Helping the Poor

Personal conviction for the needy.
I do believe that the only thing we can get out of this world that can accompany us to life after death are the good service we rendered to God and man. The help I give to people will speak on my behalf before God. Acts 10:4 the prayer and help to the poor spoke on his behalf.
Self sacrifice for others causes heros on earth, I believe the same before the creator.
