There was the Laying of the Foundation Stone on the new Kitojo Care SACCO offices by the Chief Guest Minister of Microfinance and small enterprises.
This became a memorable day for both KIDA and the son SACCO.

Today the Group Leaders of KIDA Community Health Insurance Plan (KCHIP) had a meeting to plan for 2023 and the good news is that there has been no any cost increment in neither Premium nor Co-payment.

KIDA is happy to have participated in the 6th National Community Health Financing Conference in Kampala. Mr. Asiimwe John Amooti (Entertainer) who doubles as coordinator for KIDA Community Health Insurance Plan (KCHIP) attended a two days Conference looking at "Building synergy for health insurance schemes to achieve universal coverage for a healthy and productive population in Uganda"
The conference resolved to continue combining efforts towards scaling up National health insurance scheme (NHIS) which is being redrafted and yet to be re-tabled to Parliament soon.
KCHIP being the only established Community based health insurance scheme in Kabarole and Fort-Portal city it's excited to take part in NHIS.
