Dear Executive Members and Colleagues of Hope Renewal South Sudan.
Hope Renewal South Sudan is pleased to report participation in a two-day training on Protection Mainstreaming and Referral Pathways, facilitated by the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) for all Community-Based Organizations and Refugee-Led Organizations in Bidibidi Refugee Settlement, Yumbe District, Uganda.
Key Training Outcomes
1. Protection Mainstreaming
Principles and practices to ensure all programs and activities are safe, dignified, and do no harm. This includes integrating community feedback, upholding dignity and equal access, and mitigating risks for vulnerable groups, including women, children, and persons with disabilities.
2. Referral Pathways
Standardized procedures for identifying individuals at risk and linking them safely and confidentially to appropriate services, such as health, psychosocial support, legal aid, and shelter, through established partner networks. The training emphasized informed consent, confidentiality, and timely response.
Organizational Commitments Hope Renewal South Sudan
