Thanks to your generosity, we’ve reached 60% of our fundraising goals which has provided Chess Sets, food, uniforms and resources for 100+ young people, giving them a safe space to continue to learn, connect, and grow. It’s never too late to show support and help a child in need.

Last week together with our friends , we concluded the 4th edition of the Uganda Girls League. A friendly football tournament that takes place each school holidays in Uganda that bringings girls from the community for three days of football, fun, learning and connecting with friends and building confidence. Most importantly the tournament provides protection from harmful activities that the girls would have faced.

Hi everyone I’m Nagasha Ritah. My days are filled with the brilliant young minds at Raise Chess Academy, where I serve as Program Manager. I’ve always loved working with kids their curiosity is infectious,To recharge, I turn to my favorite hobbies: reading and watching great stories unfold on screen. I’m happy to be doing work that matters and making time for the things I love.

My work allows me to combine my passion for strategy with my love for associating with children, helping them develop confidence and critical thinking. When I’m not at the Academy, you can usually find me lost in a good book or enjoying a great show. I’m truly grateful for a career that lets me pour into the next generation♟️📚✨
