Uganda is one of the youngest countries in the world, with more than half of its population under the age of 18. Despite being similar in size to the U.S. state of Oregon, Uganda is home to a population several times larger, creating significant challenges in access to education, healthcare, and basic necessities for many children.
Thousands of children across the country grow up orphaned, vulnerable, or in families struggling with extreme poverty. Many lack access to quality education, adequate nutrition, and the support needed to reach their full potential.
At Rise and Shine Children Organization, we are committed to changing that story. We reach children in some of the most remote and underserved communities, providing educational support, mentorship, and opportunities that restore hope and help build brighter futures.
Through our mission trips, scholarship programs, and community outreach initiatives.
