Friday marked the final training day at .international.school before the holiday break, and what a day it was! Students and teachers alike showed great respect for the power and discipline that skating brings. The last session was a huge success, with everyone pushing their limits and celebrating the growth we've seen over the term.

As the proud founder of Uganda’s first premier skating club, I’m thrilled to announce a huge milestone in our journey to elevate skating in Uganda! 🎉 On behalf of the entire Skating Club of Kampala, I want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to Extreme Adventure Park Busiika for becoming part of our growing family! 🙌🏽

This partnership brings us closer to our vision of turning skating into a top-tier sport, not just nationally, but internationally. 🌍 With our new training grounds set at this amazing park, we’re ready to take Ugandan skating to the next level, building champions for both national and international championships! 🏅

In conjunction with Rainbow International School, we are thrilled to announce the launch of our Saturday Skating Club, designed for the communities around Kasanga, targeting children aged 4-14 years!

🌟 Why join?

Indoor skating ground – no need to worry about weather changes!
Equipment provided – just bring your enthusiasm.
All abilities are welcome – whether you're a beginner or experienced, we’ve got something for everyone!
🗓️ Special Offer: Subscribe for the full season (21st September - 23rd November) and get the chance to compete in the Junior Championships!

Thank You so much for supporting me!

To everyone who has donated, shared and messaged about this crowdfunding campaign, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to you all.

Your contribution towards my participation in the Florida Inline Skating Marathon 2024 is a kindness I will not forget.

This is why I am especially sad to inform you all that I wasn’t able to secure a visa this time, as I couldn’t prove I had sufficient funds for the trip.

However, this is not the end of the road!

I’m determined to pursue this dream and will aim to participate in the same event next year. I would still need to demonstrate financial ability.

Your support means the world to me, and I will keep the donation page open until the end of November 2024. I will keep you all posted but in the meantime, every contribution brings me closer to achieving this goal.

Today marks a special milestone—24 years of transforming the world of skating! Asha Kirkby , you have been the strongest pillar in my skating journey, shaping both my skills and my passion for coaching.

Since my first workshop with you back in 2018 in kampala, skating has never been the same. Your unwavering dedication to teaching and spreading the spirit of skating has inspired countless skaters, including myself and Skating Club of Kampala Your love for this sport is contagious, and it’s an honor to celebrate this journey with you and everyone who has been touched by your incredible work.
