What a great milestone we have reached.
What begun as a trial project is bearing promising results.
St.Francis de Sales School - SFDS- Jinja, a special needs school built with funding from Helping Uganda Schools is not only a school but also home to over 100 learners with different disabilities.
Our learners including those with hearing impairment, physically disabilities, albinism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, visually impaired and Time takers are accessing quality but cheap formal education and vocational skills since 2022.
In addition to academics, our children are fully being nurtured to identify, develop and grow their other God given abilities like in sports, games, music and drama.
Livelihood skills are also not left out. Our learners are actively engaged in acquiring employable skills like poultry farming, animal husbandry, agriculture among others.
We are all appreciative of every individual and charities that have journeyed with us in these five years and still stepping into the future.

We are back again, hackers will never be forgiven!
We are happy to update our esteemed audience that our vocational skilling program has taken off despite it's delays.
Our target trainees are children living with disabilities and currently studying at St.Francis de Sales school-SFDS-Jinja.
We are empowering them with tailoring and fashion skills, Craft and Art skills.
Although we are starting small , we dream of a big program in the near future especially if more helping hands are extended to us in form of more Sewing machines, carpentry tools, plumbing, hair dressing, electrical among others.
Bravo to Workaid that support our organization with these few tools are starting with.
