This holiday, we are choosing impact over idleness.
The school holidays give teens time — and we are using that time to mentor, guide, and inspire. Through our Holiday Teen Mentorship Program, Provident Teen Mothers is supporting teenagers and teen mothers to:
✨ Develop life skills and confidence
✨ Make healthy and responsible choices
✨ Discover purpose and direction
✨ Grow in values, discipline, and self-worth
We believe holidays should build futures, not break them.
When teens are mentored, they return to school stronger, wiser, and hopeful.

We are beyond grateful for the incredible opportunity to host our Teen Holiday Mentorship Event at Kamuli Township Primary School! 🙏✨ It was truly inspiring to connect with so many bright, eager young minds, and to guide them toward a brighter, empowered future.
A huge THANK YOU to all the parents for trusting us with your precious children during this event. Your support means the world to us! 💖 We're committed to helping these young girls and boys build confidence, set goals, and grow into the strong, confident people they are meant to be.

TRANSFORMING LIVES IN KANANAGE! ❤️
Yesterday was beautiful day of connection in the Kananage community, Kamuli. We had the privilege of spending time with incredible teen mothers, providing not just physical supplies, but the psychosocial support they need to navigate this journey.
​But we aren’t stopping there! We officially launched the Provident Teen Mother Support Group. This will be a safe space to:
​Share their lived experiences.
​Master essential parenting skills.
​Receive vital health education.
​Build a sisterhood of strength.
​When we empower a mother, we empower a generation. Thank you to everyone who made it possible!

Tragic Loss: Farewell to Our Dedicated Volunteer, Oketcho Lawrence 💔
​It is with profound sadness and immense grief that Provident Teen Mothers announces the heartbreaking death of one of our beloved volunteers, Oketcho Lawrence.
​Oketcho tragically lost his life after being brutally beaten by thieves as he was returning home from work in Jinja City. This senseless act has robbed us of a truly good young man at a prime and productive age.
​Oketcho was an invaluable member of our team. His dedication shone through his tireless efforts in:
​Arrangement of Event Venues: Ensuring our crucial programs and events had the perfect setting.
​Accommodation Support: Providing our teams with safe and comfortable lodging during their work.
​He was supportive, reliable, and possessed a wonderful spirit that uplifted everyone around him. His loss leaves a deep void in our hearts and in the community we serve.
​We send our deepest love and prayers to his family and friends. May the Lord strengthen them during this unimaginable time.
​Rest in peace, Oketcho. Your dedication will never be forgotten.
​May his soul rest in eternal peace.
​
