AIM for Restoration of HOPE -Uganda

AIM for Restoration of HOPE -Uganda AIM for RESTORATION OF HOPE Uganda is pro-life Ministry whose mission is to scale up peoples respons

Ronald Mugabi, the executive Director and founder of Restoration of Hope (AROH), started this organization in 2001 in Wairaka and neighboring villages. Ronald saw how poverty, AIDS and other hardship were affecting the communities and felt compelled to be involved in bringing them hope. He decided what he needed to do was start an organization focused on assisting orphans, vulnerable children, you

th and widows. Ronald knew that the road to accomplishing his goal would not be an easy one but it was too important to ignore; he then quit his job and dedicated himself full time to running AROH. Since 2001, AROH has grown substantially; this is mostly due to the dedication of the leadership and board members of AROH. Their assistance to the community includes a school for nursery through grade seven, visiting the homes of children in their community and assessing their needs, providing various types of vocational training and supporting a residential care orphanage. These programs and currently running yet it is always a struggle to improve and maintain them. The home visits with these children are the clear examples of this struggle. AROH creates a detailed profile from each home visit to have a better understanding of child personal circumstances and needs. Although this profile is developed, it is difficult for any one with in AROH to respond or follow up on it due to lack of funds and resources. In the failure AROH has many plans and ideas of how they would like to continue to restore hope to their community. This hope could come in form of mobile medical unit that would bring assistance to the ill and provide counseling to those who test positive for HIV/AIDS or improve upon the school facilities available to the children.

Dear friends,
Greetings from Uganda, we experienced a bad situation yesterday evening when a strong storm occurred and wrecked the classroom block for St. Paul school and all the four classrooms were brought down.
Luckily enough there were only two people in the building and one sustained serious injuries , we were able to take him to the hospital and he was stitched .

Today morning we've been able to access the damage and it is so bad we need to rebuild the whole classroom block, because four classes will be going without shelter to study from .
We are kindly asking you to stand with us in prayers, support and help us be able to rebuild this classroom block .
For any support please don't hesitate to contact me, we will be grateful for any support that comes out to make this structure stand again. Please see attached.
