The crowd chose Barabbas over Christ—not because Barabbas was better, but because truth is often rejected when it convicts the heart. In every generation, people are faced with the same decision: to embrace the light of Christ or to follow what pleases the flesh. Sadly, many still choose what is easier, louder, and more acceptable to the world, rather than surrendering to the truth that sets them free.
Jesus stood silent, wounded, and innocent, yet the people cried for Barabbas. Today, the same spirit still moves in society whenever people reject righteousness, mock holiness, and silence the Word of God. The issue was never simply about Barabbas—it was about refusing the truth that Christ represented.
May we never be part of the crowd that rejects Jesus for temporary comfort, worldly approval, or sinful desires. Instead, let us boldly choose Christ, even when the world chooses otherwise. Truth may not always be popular, but it will always remain truth. 🙏✨
