GOD'S CHILDREN MINISTRIES (GCM)
is a home care and community based organization, based in jinja city Uganda Namulesa village 5km off Kamuli road. This home is holding 60 children now with 28 girls and 32 boys , where by some of them are total orphans , and abandoned children plus others whose parents are single and POOR!!. an him self he's village Nzobiri is one of the villages with many orphan children in Jinja District so because he grew from there he was inspired to go back to his village to bring hope to the orphan and abandoned children that God can lift you from nothing to something

MISSION
To reduced on the number of suffering orphans and abandoned children in our community through provision of the basic needs. VISION
To create a loving safe and caring environment for the orphans and abandoned children that God has entrusted us with


OBJECTIVES
(i) To bring hope to many orphans and abandoned children who lost there parents, this is done by giving them good testimonies and preaching them that God can lift you from nothing to something

(ii) To provide emergency protective care, a transitional home and community reintegration services for orphans and other vulnerable children. (iii) To grow into bigger orphanage with our own building, school and church all at stationed at one place

(iv) To lobby for scholarships for the children under our orphanage to fund their Education. (v) To preach the word of God among the hopeless orphans and vulnerable children. (vi) To operate as an approved , registered and compliant Barbie's home in accordance with Approved Home Regulations (2009) and reviewed Children and Babies Home Rules (1991). (vii) To endeavor to reconnect with existing loving family members that can provide proper care for the children. Where a child is unable to return to his or her parents or extended family , to connect children under our care with loving foster and adoptive parents with whom they can experience one_on_one affection and close family relationship. (viii) To provide children under our care with adequate diet, clothing , access to safe health_care , age_appropriate education and guidance , while protecting them from neglect , discrimination, violence and abuse. (ix) To initiate economic empowerment by establishment of income generating activities for each individual child with in the orphanage. (x) To promote hygiene and sanitation standards at all levels needed. (xi) Enhancing and improving Children's access to favorable finance services through saving and credit. CHALLENGES

We are always experiencing problem of food where by we don't have our own garden to grow it from and we have no one to buy so we depend on small local donations for serval
