That is not just a number.
In 2025 alone, 4,346 people walked through our doors in Jinja seeking help after violence.
Among them were:
β’ 428 children who had been defiled
β’ 663 women facing domestic violence
β’ 40 r**e survivors
β’ 100 cases that required court medical testimony
Imagine being one of them.
Imagine moving from a police station to a hospital⦠from a hospital to court⦠from court back home carrying trauma, fear, and stigma.
Survivors should not have to fight systems while fighting pain.
That is why ROCAF is strengthening a 24/7 One-Stop Crisis Centre in Jinja so survivors receive medical care, counselling, protection, and justice under one roof.
The increase in documented cases reflects improved community trust and reporting ,not increased violence.
Violence thrives in silence, Healing begins with access, Stand with survivors & Share this message.
