Victory( you overcome by faith)

1 John 5:4 — _“For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”_

Jesus came out of the wilderness and angels ministered to Him. The same is true for us.

Fasting doesn’t make God love you more. It reveals that you’re already His, and that faith is what overcomes. The old things God stripped this week — doubt, self-reliance, comfort, compromise — lost their grip because you kept choosing Him.

Victory isn’t the absence of a fight. It’s standing in faith while God fights for you. You didn’t quit on day 10. That’s proof the Spirit in you is stronger than the flesh against you.

Prayer
Father, thank You for getting me through _Testing_. I declare victory not because I’m strong, but because I’m born of You. Seal what You’ve done in me.

Strength in Weakness

2 Cor 12:9 — _“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”_

By now the fast feels heavy. The energy is low. The old coping mechanisms are gone. That’s exactly where God wants you.

He strips what’s old — our strength, our strategies, our “I can handle this” — so what’s new can come: His grace carrying us. Paul begged God to remove the thorn. God said no, because the weakness was the doorway for power.

In the wilderness you don’t look strong. You look dependent. And that’s the win. When you can’t, He can. When you run out, He doesn’t.

Prayer
Jesus, I’m weak today. But Your grace is enough. Show Your power through my emptiness. I won’t hide my weakness — I’ll boast in it so Christ can be seen in me.

Worship

Matt 4:10 — _“You shall worship the Lord your God and Him only shall you serve.”_

Right after testing Jesus’ identity and truth, the enemy offered Him a shortcut: bow down and get everything without the cross.

Fasting exposes who/what we’re actually bowing to. Comfort. Approval. Control. Food. Even ministry. When those things get stripped, the question comes up, Who gets my allegiance?

Worship isn’t just singing. It’s choosing God over the shortcut, every time. It’s saying “I’d rather be hungry and have You, than full and have anything else.” God strips the old idols so what’s new is a heart that only bows to Him.

Prayer
Father, tear down every altar in me that isn’t Yours. Today I choose to worship You only and serve You only.

Faith Over Fear in Uncertain Seasons
Isaiah 41:10 says, _“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”_ Uncertain times don’t mean God has stepped back — they’re an invitation to trust Him instead of our own understanding. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to _“Trust in the Lord with all your heart… and he will make straight your paths.”_ Fear focuses on what we lack, but faith focuses on who is with us. The same God who gives us new mercy every morning also walks with us through every decision we face. So instead of asking “What if this doesn’t work?”, we can ask “God, what are You doing in this?” — and that shift turns anxiety into prayer, and prayer into peace.

In Matt 4:3-4, after questioning His identity, the enemy offers Jesus a shortcut: “Turn these stones to bread.” But Jesus answers with Scripture instead of impulse.

Fasting exposes cravings — not just for food, but for quick fixes, escape, and control. Temptation shows up right where you feel empty. The goal isn’t to make you fall. It’s to reveal who/what you’re depending on. God always gives a way out, 1 Cor 10:13.

In this season, God is stripping the “easy bread” we reach for to numb the wilderness. When you choose His Word over the shortcut, your spirit gets stronger than your appetite.

IDENTITY. (Whose voice do you believe)

Right after hunger, the enemy came at Jesus with: _“If you are the Son of God, turn these stones to bread.”_ Matt 4:3.

Testing always starts with identity. When the old things are stripped away, we hear the loudest question: _“Who are you without this?”_ The enemy tries to make you prove yourself, perform, or panic. But God already named you. You don’t have to fight for what He already gave you.

In this season, God is stripping the labels, approval, and titles we’ve used to define ourselves. When those fall off, His Word is what remains: _You are My son. You are My daughter._
