Before the first academic Term ended, April 2026, we worked with the ICT Club of Kaliro High School & WordPress Jinja, holding a 2 day digital skills empowerment Outreach for 103 Adolescents & Young Adults (AYA); Students & the Community:

✓ AI & Coding Skills instructed virtually by

Though digital technology is life changing; redefining careers, entrepreneurship, education, networking, and entertainment; access among rural Uganda AYA is below 20%, limiting global competency and translating to unemployment.

World Educare Network through the Digital Empowerment Program is addressing the gap. Guided by KAWA Uganda , we;

✓ Initiated, sustained & continue to empower ICT Clubs in 3 Schools;
✓ Bridged valuable stakeholders to nature skills;
✓ Installed Internet connectivity in 1 School with input from .

Glad to have joined 4 other Organisations under the Ubuntu Leaders Academy in Uganda for an impactful staff capacity building, commemorating the International Labor Day 2026.

Rooted in servant leadership, passionate social impact founders came together to strengthen organisational practices, equipping 16 senior staff through peer learning, shared experiences & practical insights.

Boosted our community Digital Literacy Program with practical training sessions involving holiday makers, credit to WordPress Community Jinja, and, host Busoga Light College, -BLC, Jinja Uganda

Uganda is 67% short in the digital skills domain of the Inclusive Digital Economy Scorecard (IDES); estimated 1 in 5 youth possess recognized digital skills, and 3% of the total population received recognized digital skills training by 2025, rural communities being highly underserved.

Blessed with the youngest population of youth than ever before, strategic investment in digital competency development could accelerate realization of the Uganda Vision 2040 and the 2030 Agenda.

Challenged with limited access to digital resources, the grassroot communities demonstrate the most of skills gap. World Educare Network believes "Leaving No One Behind" represents all efforts in addressing gaps.

For 2 days, with 7 powered laptops and portable Internet, we introduced 26 teenagers within Mafubira - Jinja to various skills: basic computer, creating email addresses, and Website Development using WordPress.
