REQUEST FOR CONTRIBUTIONS TOWARDS RADIO AIR TIME:

Praise God friends who are on this platform.

We would like to appreciate your continuous support to DNU missions.

Some of you may be aware that we ran a drive to pay for radio airtime sometimes back and it worked well for about four months.

So, since May last year, we have not paid any coin.

Now the management of the radio is asking us to pay an accumulated debt of 10 months amounting to 1,500,000/=. And the management asked us to suspend DNU program for now until we clear the debt.

On behalf of DNU and on my own behalf, i am placing a request to you to help DNU clear the debt.

I have the soft copy of the invoice and I will share it shortly here.

Happy New Year friends of Directorate of Mission and Outreach. Lineup of activities from January to February 2024.

1. Joint Clergy conference for Diocese of northern Uganda and Kitgum slated for 17th - 21st, Jan under the theme: Conforming to God's words and not the patterns of the world (Romans 12:2),

2. Diocesan conversation at St Philip cathedral Gulu City, slated for 22nd - 26th Jan under the theme: Proclaiming the words and doing the work (2 Timothy 4:1,2), and

3. Rooted in Jesus leaders training for 300 people from all our churches slated for 29th Jan -2nd February 2024.

Please pray for us and support us where you can and God will bless you this year 2024.

Praise God friends and followers of this page. Take note of the following events for your prayers: 21/11/2023 Thanksgiving prayers for a two years episcopal ministry of Bishop Godfrey Loum at St Philip cathedral Gulu City, 26/11/2023 commemoration and celebration of 119 years of Christianity in Acholi land commonly known as Musalaba Day, 10/12/2023 ordination and priesting of 12 people at St Philip cathedral Gulu City, and 17-21/12/2023 Diocesan youth camp at Gulu high school with Bishop Godfrey Loum as the main speaker. Praise God friends in whom all blessings flow. The Department is engaging in quite a few activities as we close the year. Among others are: Musalaba Celebration with mass wedding, confirmation and foot pilgrimage, Discipleship training and implementation of Community Bible study kicking off Sunday 22/10/2023 in about 30 churches, planning meeting for Joint Clergy conference going.
