WE LOVE OUR NEW CHURCH! ❤️ We are making so many new friends. Even though we have been coming for 17 years, it now feels like our home church. Brother Joel is here leading worship, and Rev. Ben Ochan is preaching about readying ourselves for heaven. Such a good reminder. Got to pray for 2 situations today.🙏

After church we ate together, beans, rice, sweet potato, chicken and our favourite boo. 😋
Everyone is so welcoming 🫶🙏

What an incredible day we had yesterday celebrating our dear friend and partner, Hon. Phoebe Ayoo in her new role as Member of Parliament. Politicians, Bishops, clergy, family, friends, citizens of Gulu District, and people from across continents, around 5,000 came to thank God for her.(And I got to drive her to the ceremony, an honour and delight. I was told I drive like an Acholi - hopefully that's a good thing 😄).
You could tangibly feel the love for her. We are so blessed to be able to stand alongside her and her beautiful family, and thank God so much for her ❤️🙏

What an incredible day we had yesterday celebrating our dear friend and partner in her new role as Member of Parliament. Gulu Mission would like to extend our sincere thanks to for their generous support of four laptops to Gulu Bethel Secondary School in Gulu, Northern Uganda.

The excitement on the Headteacher's face when receiving the laptops said it all. These laptops give opportunity, possibility, and hope for all the students. These laptops will help to strengthen teaching and learning, give students and staff greater access to digital skills, research and coursework, and better prepare the students for further education and eventually the workplace.

In a world where technology plays such a vital role, resources like these can make a life-changing difference.

We are incredibly grateful to you for investing in the future of these students and helping us create more opportunities for young people in Gulu.

Gulu Mission would like to extend our sincere thanks to The ITSA Digital Trust for their generous support of four laptops to Gulu Bethel Secondary School in Gulu, Northern Uganda.

After the church service we accompanied Bishop James to Paranga Village to give out some millet and soap. It took us 1 1/2 hrs to drive through the bush, no actual roads to where we needed to be. The women in the village expressed they live primitively, with ALL the children having no access to education, and without rain recently their crops have all failed, so they are all really hungry. You could feel their desperation. Praise God on behalf of Mama Phoebe we were able to hand out some food. 🙏

After a very busy 18 days in Uganda and Kenya, today is the first day of sitting in the lovely grounds of our guesthouse doing admin, and I have the delight of having my hubby working alongside me. A new working environment, but really blessed to be able to do it full-time and in a country we both love dearly ❤️🇺🇬
