In many of our communities, young people are not lacking potential, they are lacking opportunity.

At Raise Up Hearts, we believe that skills can change everything.

Through our community-based empowerment programs, we are training young boys and youth in practical, income-generating skills such as metal fabrication, welding, and hands on craftsmanship. These are not just technical skills, they are tools of transformation.

From shaping iron into doors, windows, and structures……. to learning discipline, teamwork, and responsibility…
these young men are building more than products, they are building their futures.

For many of them, this journey is a turning point:
Moving away from unemployment
Avoiding risky behaviors and negative influences
Gaining confidence and purpose
Becoming contributors to their families and communities

We are also working to revive and utilize equipment like spraying machines to expand opportunities into finishing, painting, and value addition creating even more pathways for income and innovation.

This work directly contributes to:

8 - Decent Work & Economic Growth
By equipping youth with employable and entrepreneurial skills.

1 - No Poverty
By creating pathways for sustainable income and self-reliance.

🤝 A Call to Partners & Supporters

This is just the beginning.
With more support, we can:
• Train more youth
• Equip workshops with modern tools
• Expand into more vocational skills
• Create community production hubs
• Empower both boys and girls with livelihood opportunities

We invite partners, donors, and well-wishers to join us in scaling this impact.

Because when you empower hands,
you restore dignity…
you rebuild hope…
and you transform entire communities.

we had the privilege of working alongside Helen and her incredible family from Germany in delivering a life changing intervention focused on , , and of in our community.

In many rural settings, access to basic sanitary products remains a major barrier to education. Girls are often forced to miss school, lose confidence, or even drop out entirely due to lack of menstrual hygiene support. But beyond the products, there is an even deeper need, knowledge, guidance, and a safe space to be heard.

Together, we conducted a comprehensive session that combined:
• Distribution of sanitary pads
• Menstrual hygiene and WASH education
• Open mentorship discussions
• Confidence-building and life skills engagement

What stood out most was not just the distribution, but the .

Sustainable development is not only a global conversation, it is a responsibility we must bring directly to young people.

Today, I had the opportunity, as Founder and Executive Director of Raise Up Hearts, to engage students in a classroom discussion about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), sustainability, and climate responsibility. What stood out most was their curiosity, creativity, and willingness to be part of solutions.

True sustainability begins with education. When children understand climate change, environmental stewardship, and responsible citizenship early, they grow into leaders capable of shaping resilient communities and sustainable economies.

Our mission at Raise Up Hearts is simple but powerful: empower young people with knowledge, values, and confidence to become change-makers in their communities.

The SDGs are not distant global policies, they are daily actions, local solutions, and shared responsibilities.

If we invest in educating children today, we secure a sustainable tomorrow.

Let us continue building partnerships that place youth at the center of climate action and sustainable development.

This year has begun with powerful momentum from our Junior Team, whose dedication to education, leadership, and sustainability continues to inspire meaningful change in our communities.

Over the past weeks, our young leaders visited schools, engaged directly with learners in classrooms, and assessed how students are improving both academically and in their understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These interactions created an opportunity not only to share knowledge but also to listen, mentor, and inspire the next generation to see education as a tool for transformation.

Beyond classroom engagement, the team also planted trees within school compounds, a practical commitment to environmental protection and climate action. By combining learning with action, we are nurturing responsible citizens who understand that sustainable development begins with everyday choices and collective responsibility.

What makes this initiative special is the peer-to-peer connection. Young people learn best when inspired by fellow youth who demonstrate leadership through service. Through these visits, learners gained confidence, environmental awareness, and a deeper understanding of their role in shaping a sustainable future.

Investing in young minds today means building resilient communities tomorrow. Education, environmental stewardship, and youth empowerment must move together if we are to achieve lasting development.

We are proud of our Junior Team for turning vision into action: one classroom, one conversation, and one tree at a time.

🌱 IMPACT UPDATE & CLIMATE ACTION IN MOTION 🌱

Today, we checked on some of the trees we planted earlier and we’re proud to say they are growing well.

But for us, planting trees is only the beginning. The real impact comes from monitoring, nurturing, and involving young people and communities in protecting what we plant.

Through our Youth and SDGs Clubs, we are now preparing teams to regularly follow up on these trees, track their progress, and ensure long-term environmental sustainability in schools and surrounding communities.

This initiative is not just about trees, it’s about:
✔ Climate education
✔ Youth leadership
✔ Community ownership
✔ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

We invite well-wishers, partners, and supporters to join hands with Raise Up Hearts as we continue building climate-resilient communities together.

🌍 Every tree counts. Every young person matters.

Today in our primary school outreach, Raise Up Hearts conducted interactive learning sessions on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), climate action, health, and sanitation.

Pupils were taught the importance of safely packing food in containers a simple but powerful practice that promotes good health, reduces food contamination, and minimizes environmental waste.

We emphasized a vital message: when we protect the environment, it provides food; when we practice good health and sanitation, we fight hunger and disease.

As part of our ongoing commitment, we shall continue providing food containers to pupils to support healthy eating habits while advancing climate and environmental responsibility.

By educating children today, we are building food-secure, healthy, and climate-resilient communities for tomorrow.

This is the Raise Up Hearts approach, practical education, real impact, lasting change.

Today, Raise Up Hearts conducted another impactful SDGs and Climate Action awareness session with pupils in primary schools.

Through interactive learning, students explored how climate change affects their communities and how they can become part of the solution.

We concluded the session by planting trees in and around the school, contributing to environmental restoration, improving air quality, and creating safer, greener learning spaces.

🌱 Educating children today is protecting the planet tomorrow.
