As part of our effort to promote health among communities, our medical tea held a medical camp at Harugongo Catholic church, where we sensitized the congregation on HIV, cervical cancer, NCDs and Malnutrition while providing them with health services ♥️💯

We had a good turn up of teen mother's during community outreach that we conducted in north division, mother have continued to embrace family planning methods both natural and artificial methods. This was evidenced by 17/22 mother received the methods. Furthermore immunisation services to the children was offered

With support from CARE-uganda under CASCADE project we distributed agri-inputs to schools in Tooro region in efforts to ensure maintainence of agroecology learning sites that are sources of nutrient dense crops like Narobean, orange flesh sweet potatoes, vegetables etc. to help in averting malnutrition in Tooro region which is still high compared to nstional average (38.7% stunting compared to 26% national average as of UDHS 2022)

YAWE Foundation is represented by the E.D. to the International AIDS conference by IAS happening now in Kigali. HIV still remains a major public health Challenge and new strategies and innovations are being adopted to sustain care and treatment amidst major funding cuts.
