Church Planting: Taking the Gospel to Kamwenge
If you’re going to touch communities, we must know their sorrows, feel their temptations and stand in their heartbreaks. The gospel isn’t just preached from a distance – it’s lived among the people.
Here we go. By God’s leading, we’re taking the gospel to Kamwenge, a small rural district in western Uganda with 250,000 people. Most here are farmers and daily laborers. Church is far, hope feels distant, and many children grow up without knowing a God who sees them.
We’re planting City Life Church Kamwenge right in the heart of the community. First step: raise $3,000 to purchase a property – an empty land space where families can gather, children can learn, and the broken can find healing. Once the land is secured, we’ll erect a simple church structure that doubles as a training center for skills, counseling, and community care.
This isn’t about building walls. It’s about building hope. A place where sorrows are carried, temptations are faced together, and heartbreaks meet the comfort of Christ.
Will you stand with us?
Your prayers and financial support will literally lay the foundation. Every dollar brings us closer to owning that land and opening doors for the gospel in Kamwenge.

To pray: Ask God for open hearts, favor with local leaders, and provision for the $3,000 land purchase.
Thank you for believing that no community is too small or too rural for Jesus.
