Our partner schools are soon breaking for a recess of three weeks in preparation for term two of the Ugandan school calendar. During this recess period, children especially OVC are most at risk of dropping out of school as a result of peer pressure influence coupled with the environment within which they live.
Our staff has embarked on home based monitoring: supporting the children, caregivers and entire households to ensuring proper allocation of their time to living responsibly and remaining accountable to each other for the good of the young ones in our midst

Give thanks to the God Almighty, for his steadfast love endures forever(Psalm:136:26). Through God's love that endures forever, Waiswa Henry in company of the PM, has been able to join his course in Agricultural Production with a new partner Kaliro Technical Institute brought on board. We can't wait to have our own agricultural officer in a few years to come. It has been a busy week and month with our programs manager engaging with kids and their teachers during our routine school based monitoring at: Standard college, Central college and Nakavule Lutheran Junior schools in Bugiri to assess the children's progress and challenges for informed decision making to ensure school retention and attendance.
We appreciate the manager for her tireless efforts in serving the kids in our midst but all appreciate all our partners for supporting God's ministry

School based monitoring: Henry is our sponsored child since 2019 in primary level education and is now in the final class of the secondary level to be transitioned to the next level come next year before university. Henry dreams of becoming a practicing lawyer: we are proud of him having watched and nurtured him to this level with all his determination and commitment to achieving his dream

It is a new year and the new academic year is loading: Just one week to start the first term of the schools' calendar. We expect all our children in class come 3rd/Feb/2025 ready for serious business with the teachers at school.

We have spent a couple of weeks at our offices planning for the term, engaging with caregivers and parents but also counseling a few of our youths
