Hello family
I’m writing to introduce you to the Community Concern and Development Foundation Uganda (COCODEF), a non-profit, non-governmental organization based in Bugiri District, Eastern Uganda. Our foundation is dedicated to caring for 75 vulnerable children aged 2-19 years, providing them with basic needs such as education, shelter, food, medication, and clothing.
We’re reaching out to seek your support, whether financial, material, or knowledge-based, to help us sustain our programs. Our initiatives include:
- Plantation agriculture for food security
- Livestock keeping (currently 4 cows and 5 goats) and poultry farming for commercial purposes
- Education and vocational training for the children
Our ultimate goal is to acquire our own land to build a permanent home for the children and expand our agricultural projects. Currently, we’re renting a small house and a separate plot of land for farming. We’ve started constructing a house, but it’s stalled due to limited resources.
We’re appealing for help to:
- Complete the construction of our house
- Acquire a larger piece of land for our projects
- Support our children’s education and basic needs
