Mungu Feni Foundation Uganda Alongside Other Humanitarian & Development Partners Join Arua City In Launching 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence 2025.

Mungufeni Foundation has today 25th November 2025 together with humanitarian and development partners in Arua City joined the City Authority to officially launch the 2025 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence at Ayivu Division.

This year’s campaign, running under the Theme “Unite to End Digital Violence Against Women and Girls,” focuses on raising awareness, strengthening reporting mechanisms, and promoting safe digital spaces for women and girls.

During the launch, City leaders including the RCC and Deputy Mayor of Ayivu Division, emphasized that gender-based violence is often linked to poverty and that socio-economic empowerment of women is a vital solution.

They also noted that the majority of GBV cases remain unreported, highlighting the need for increased awareness, proper case registration, and timely referrals for survivors.

Mungufeni Foundation and partners have been actively involved in preparatory planning, coordination meetings and resource mobilization over the past months contributing to the successful launch.

Awareness creation and sensitization activities will continue throughout the campaign, ending on 10th December 2025.

Through this initiative, Mungufeni Foundation reaffirms its commitment to empowering communities, promoting justice, and working collaboratively to end gender-based violence in Arua City and beyond.

To: All Friends of Humanities, Private Sector Actors, Faith-Based Institutions, CSOs, Families, and Individuals Who Supported

Subject: Appreciation for Your Support Towards the “Weaving Hope” Match Funding Project Fundraising.

Dear Esteemed Partners,

On behalf of Mungufeni Foundation, I extend my deepest appreciation to all friends of humanities, private sector partners, faith-based institutions, civil society organizations (CSOs), families, and individual well-wishers for your generous support towards the “Weaving Hope” Match Funding Project. Your financial, in-kind, and volunteer contributions have given renewed hope to vulnerable communities across West Nile. Because of your kindness, young people like Amina-a 19-year-old orphan caring for her siblings-are gaining practical skills in weaving, tailoring, and life development. Your support continues to strengthen our ongoing interventions such as talent development, school sponsorship, boda boda safety awareness, and charity outreach to orphans, widows, and the elderly. Through your generosity, dignity is being restored, opportunities are being created, and lives are being transformed.

We also acknowledge the amplified impact created through our Match Funding partners-World Garzeen and the Uganda National NGO Forum-who are multiplying every contribution received. We assure you that all resources entrusted to us will be put to the right and intended use, and we remain committed to full transparency and accountability. With your permission, we shall proudly acknowledge your support through our website and social media platforms as a celebration of your compassion and the change you made possible. Thank you for your trust, your humanity, and your steadfast belief in empowering communities. May God richly bless you for choosing to stand with us.

With sincere gratitude,
