🌾 Food security starts with fertiliser security.

Higher prices are pushing farmers to their limits: less fertiliser, lower yields. With the next sowing season approaching, we cannot afford to wait.

That’s why today we are taking action to:

💶 Offer financial support to farmers from the EU budget
🏭 Reinforce domestic production and cut import dependency
♻️ Scale up circular economy and bio-based alternatives
📈 Strengthen market transparency

Europe must produce more and depend less on others for the nutrients that sustain our agriculture.

Dependency is a vulnerability. And we're working to change it.

Днями робоча група затвердила 14 громад Харківської області до участі в проєкті Horizon Homes – ініціативи зі створення постійного житла для людей, які постраждали від війни. Проєкт реалізується за фінансування Швейцарії у трьох областях України.

Відбір відбувався через відкритий конкурс і чітку методологію у співпраці з Харківська обласна військова адміністрація та Міністерство розвитку громад та територій України. У такий спосіб, Helvetas забезпечує прозорість рішень і спрямовує зусилля відповідно до пріоритетів локального відновлення.

Вже скоро відбір буде проводитися й в інших областях проєкту – Чернігівській та Сумській.

Horizon Homes допоможе 330 українським родинам відновити доступ до гідного та комфортного життя.

Житло, що буде надано в межах проєкту, створене за модульною технологією. Воно поєднує якість зі швидким розгортанням і має високий потенціал до масштабування у регіонах із високою потребою в житлі.

Ініціатива реалізується швейцарською будівельною компанією Divario AG у партнерстві з Helvetas за підтримки SECO Economic Cooperation and Development, поєднуючи інфраструктурні рішення з потужним соціальним впливом задля стійкого відновлення України.

🔧 У 2026 році відбудеться найбільший конкурс професійної майстерності серед молоді.

В Україні відновлюється «WorldSkills Ukraine» — змагання, де оцінюють професійні навички від зварювання до робототехніки. Це найбільший конкурс технічних професій для учнів, студентів і молодих фахівців.

Учасники змагатимуться за такими компетенціями:
🔹 зварювальні роботи
🔹 верстати з програмним керуванням
🔹 мехатроніка
🔹 мобільна робототехніка
(перелік може доповнюватися)

Як проходитиме конкурс:
🔹 внутрішні конкурси в закладах освіти
🔹 регіональні етапи — у травні–червні
🔹 національний фінал — восени

Восени переможці регіональних змагань представлять свої області у фіналі, який організує Міністерство освіти і науки України спільно з Федерацією роботодавців України та Українським інститутом розвитку освіти.

Учасники конкурсу зможуть продемонструвати професійні навички роботодавцям і зробити перший крок у кар’єрі.

🌞🔋⚡️ Експерти компанії Віатек, учасника Асоціації сонячної енергетики України, надали коментарі інформаційному агентству УНІАН щодо можливостей встановлення сонячних панелей на балконах і фасадах багатоквартирних будинків.

🔎 Фахівці пояснили, що останні зміни в законодавстві значно спростили процедуру встановлення сонячних електростанцій.

💬 «Станом на сьогодні вимоги суттєво спрощені. Уряд виключив встановлення сонячних електростанцій із переліку робіт, що потребують спеціальних дозвільних документів. Тепер монтаж СЕС на дахах і фасадах здійснюється на підставі звіту про технічне обстеження будівлі», – зазначили експерти.

Водночас у багатоквартирних будинках дах і фасад є спільною власністю співвласників, тому встановлення панелей доцільно погоджувати з ОСББ або керуючою компанією.

📌 За словами експертів, невелика балконна система зазвичай складається з 1-4 сонячних панелей, мікроінвертора, монтажних конструкцій і кабельної продукції. У сонячну погоду одна панель може виробляти до 2-2,5 кВт·год електроенергії на день, чого достатньо для живлення частини побутових приладів.

🛠 Фахівці наголошують, що встановлення таких систем мають виконувати кваліфіковані спеціалісти, а при виборі обладнання варто віддавати перевагу перевіреним виробникам та уникати саморобних конструкцій.

Europe’s competitiveness depends on talent. And talent must come from everyone. This is why the EIT works to close gender gaps and widen participation in innovation across Europe.

The newly adopted EU Gender Equality Strategy 2026–2030 recognises an often-overlooked reality: gender equality is not only a matter of fairness —it is an economic imperative.

Gender gaps in education and employment still limit Europe’s ability to fully mobilise its talent. Studies show that improving gender equality in the EU could increase GDP per capita by up to 9.6% by 2050 and create more than 10 million additional jobs.

This is particularly critical in STEM fields, where skills shortages grow while women remain under-represented. Expanding participation in these sectors is essential to strengthening Europe’s innovation capacity and competitiveness.

The Strategy places education at the centre of the solution. A comprehensive education package in 2026 will strengthen basic skills —including science, mathematics and digital competences— from an early age. Together with the Girls Go STEM initiative, led by the EIT under the STEM Education Strategic Plan, the EU aims to attract one million girls to STEM by 2028.

At the same time, the Strategy introduces a “Boys in HEAL” approach to encourage more boys and men to pursue careers in health, education, administration and literacy.

Because closing gender gaps is not only about equality. It is about unlocking Europe’s full innovation potential and competitiveness.
