🌟 Artist spotlight: Nina

Nina is a Ukrainian watercolour artist, certified art therapist (MA) and founder of Nyusikart School. For the past 8 years she's been teaching her signature loose, spontaneous watercolour style to students all over the world.

Nina works at the place where art and emotional wellbeing meet, leading sessions with kids, teenagers and adults, and using watercolour as a way to help people slow down, listen inward, and find something they didn't know they were looking for.

Yesterday, the artists from our UW community took a big step forward on their creative projects 🗺️

During our online consultation, we reviewed where each project stands right now and built a simple, realistic roadmap for the next 3-6 months.

We covered:

✨ Setting a clear development goal
✨ Mapping out key milestones
✨ Prioritizing next steps (and avoiding chaos!)
✨ Getting presentation- and promotion-ready

Thank you to everyone who joined 💛

A reminder: one participant will be selected for a personal 1:1 online session with Olena Viter 🎁 The winner will be announced tomorrow, so stay tuned! 👀

Independence means the right to create 🎨

Today we're celebrating Independence Day. We are also celebrating every artist, curator, and cultural researcher in the U-Woman community.

You create and tell the truth about Ukraine's story to the world
through war, through distance, through everything...

Even more grateful to those defending that right.

Slava Ukraini! 🇺🇦

UKR:

🌟 Artist spotlight: ZENIT

ZENIT is a Ukrainian nonbinary musician and multidisciplinary artist based in Vilnius — working with voice, writing and visuals, and driven by a belief that art should be a space where people feel safe enough to be fully themselves.

A graduate of the Vilnius Academy of Arts, ZENIT founded FR3AK FLAG: a weekly event in Vilnius, where live jams, poetry and performance collide. Built to bridge communities, shine a light on Ukrainian artists, and centre q***r, trans and intersectional voices with an audience that doesn't just watch, but becomes part of the show.

🌟 Artist spotlight: AMBY

AMBY is a Kyiv-based painter and mixed media artist whose work invites you somewhere specific: into what she calls dreamscapes. They are the vivid imagined worlds we visit in sleep and half-remember upon waking.

She builds these places by layering different materials and textures until each surface holds its own depth and atmosphere. Looking at her work, you don't just see a painting; you feel the pull to enter it.
