We had to remove this little dog from a highly radioactive area. After she was safely decontaminated, we sterilized her and relocated her to a new location. She is now safe, healthy, and happy. ❤️

This little girl has eluded capture since 2022, producing multiple litters year after year. We finally located her again and were able to safely dart her for chemical immobilization.

As you can see, she was barely fazed by the dart and did just fine, the dart simply delivers the medication needed to safely immobilize her. And yes, she was indeed pregnant.

After four years of trying, we finally got her! ❤️

The Dogs of Chernobyl veterinary team has started their sterilization campaign. We will be working in the outer areas of the Chornobyl exclusion zone as well as Chernobyl town.
We will treat as many animals as possible, as well as doing medical treatments and exams on the population of dogs that live at the power plant . 🐕

The Dogs of Chernobyl veterinary team is heading back to Chornobyl, Ukraine!

Clean Futures Fund will be in the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone providing free spay/neuter surgeries and vaccinations to help the animals that need us most.

Anesthetics and materials cost us roughly:
$35 to sterilize 1️⃣ dog
$25 to sterilize 1️⃣ cat +
$5 for pain meds to help them heal comfortably.

✨ One simple act makes a huge difference:

That’s it. That’s all it takes to stop generations of suffering before it begins.

Every animal we help means:
✔ Fewer starving puppies and kittens
✔ Less disease and injury
✔ A more humane future for Ukraine’s strays and pets

❤️ Please consider sponsoring just one animal.

Donate today — every dollar makes a difference!

All donations go directly to the Dogs of Chernobyl program helping sterilize, vaccinate and feed hundreds of dogs and cats in the Chornobyl Region.
