Real experiences, real impact, read what shared about his time with ZiVo
“From the moment I arrived in Zanzibar, I was amazed by the beauty of the island. The culture and the warmth of the local people make Zanzibar a truly special place. It is an island that immediately feels welcoming and leaves a lasting impression on everyone who visits.
My internship project through ZIVO was an incredible experience and one that I would highly recommend to anyone. The project itself was inspiring and gave me the opportunity to make a real contribution to the local community. Throughout the entire experience, the support from my supervisor, Rajab, was outstanding. Rajab was always available to help with anything that was needed, whether it involved practical matters, guidance during the project, or overcoming challenges along the way. He is deeply committed to ensuring that every project achieves the best possible outcomes and genuinely cares about both the students and the local community.
I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the project I carried out in Zanzibar. Through this experience, I was able to directly make a positive impact on children living with HIV. Seeing the difference that even small actions can make in the lives of these children has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
I leave Zanzibar with unforgettable memories, lifelong friendships, and a deeper understanding of global health and community empowerment. I would highly recommend this internship to anyone seeking a meaningful international experience while making a positive difference”
