A few years ago, during the rainy season, the children at our school faced a heartbreaking challenge.

Whenever the rains came, everything became difficult. The small classroom we had would become wet as the rain came inside, and the paths leading to the school would disappear into deep mud. For many children, reaching school became almost impossible.

Because of this, many of them had to stay home for weeks — sometimes even for a whole month without learning.

Watching this was painful, because this was never the dream we had for them.

But we refused to give up.

Five years ago, we started this school under a tree with only a few children, simply because we believed that every child deserves the chance to learn.

Today, that small dream is growing.

We now have two classrooms built, and what once started as a small kindergarten program has now grown into a full primary school program. Every day, more children are coming to learn, grow, and dream about their future.

This is more than just a school.
It is a symbol of hope for children in Maasai land

If you feel inspired by this journey, we welcome you to stand with us — to support, visit, or share this story — and help us build a brighter future for the children of Maasai land. 🤝📚

We wish you all a happy weekend ❤️.We can't wait to see you at school anytime.

From the Tree to a School — A Dream in Progress

Great News!

Dear Sponsors, Donors, Partners, Volunteers, Friends, Family, and Colleagues,
For the past six years, your generous support has meant the world to us. Words alone cannot express the deep gratitude we feel for your commitment and love ❤️ . It was truly blessing and generosity. Oltukai Community Development Organization (OCDO) has launched three impactful projects in Oltukai village since 4 years now — with the centerpiece being our dream, a school for our children.

What began under a tree has grown into something truly powerful, and this dream wouldn’t have reached this point without each one of you standing with us.

On behalf of the entire Oltukai community, teachers, project team, and families, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Vijay & Shama Bhardwaj and family for sponsored the two classrooms. Your support has brought remarkable progress and hope to our journey.

Our vision is to build 7 classrooms to fulfill a full primary school curriculum. With 2 already built, we have 5 more to go, and with your continued support, we know it’s possible we will make it🙏.

To everyone who has walked with us any miles, We so grateful and thankful for your unwavering generosity, belief, and commitment. You’ve helped turn a simple beginning into a legacy that will impact over 1,000 children across Maasai land especially unprivileged and orphans kids.

We invite you to keep walking with us. Join this campaign “From a tree to a school” and help us write the next chapter of this incredible journey.

Stay tuned, our 2024 report and a special short story of our journey are coming soon!

Dear All,

My name is Kipelian Olesisian, though most people know me as Kipe Laizer. I am the founder of the Oltukai Community Development Organization (OCDO).

Today, I want to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude for your incredible support, kindness, and encouragement in helping me serve my community through our projects focused on education, women’s empowerment, and clean water, especially for the little children. None of this would have been possible without your dedication and presence. Words cannot fully express how deeply grateful I am for your unwavering support in 2024. You have truly been amazing to us.

As we look ahead, I warmly invite you to continue supporting us. This year, we are planning to embark on an exciting new project: building a school. We cannot achieve this without your generosity and help.

Karibu! Stay connected and follow our updates.

Best regards,
Kipelian Olesisian

Dear Friends and Family!

Good evening! We hope you and your loved ones are doing well. Thank you for following our updates and staying connected with us.

Today, we are excited to share an update about our sponsorship program!

First and foremost, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all our sponsors. Your commitment has given our children the opportunity to attend school something that would not have been possible without your support. We are truly overjoyed!

Program Achievements:
Since launching the sponsorship campaign in 2022-2023, 17 kids successfully received sponsorship, with over 40 graduates during those two yearsThis is a remarkable achievement, and we thank everyone who made this possible!

* Older Kids (2022/2023):
11 children scored Grade ‘B’ in their first year despite challenges like attending classes late. In 2023/2024, they had the chance to join boarding school.

* Latest Results: All 11 children scored Grade ‘A’ an incredible improvement!

Younger Group (2023/2024):
* Out of 6 children, 3 scored Grade ‘B’ and 3 scored Grade ‘C’. These results were impacted by attending classes only 2–3 days a week due to long distances, rainy conditions, and poor roads. We hope for significant progress this year as we aim to help them join boarding school for a better learning environment.

Current Need for Sponsors:
Unfortunately, 6 sponsors can no longer continue supporting 7 children due to personal and financial challenges. These 7 children are now in need of new sponsors:

* 3 children are in Grade 2, moving to Grade 3.
* 4 children are in Grade 1, moving to Grade 2.
* Among them, 3 are orphans, and the other 4 come from challenging backgrounds.

We warmly invite anyone who would like to join us in this journey to give these children a chance to fulfill their dreams. Your support can truly change their lives and shape their future!

However, Remember to visit our bio to continue supporting the project of building a school. This project will give many kids the chance to achieve their dreams

Hi everyone!

Greetings from Kipe Pre-School! We hope you and your families are doing well.

As we approach the end of 2024, we want to take this moment to thank all of you—our sponsors, regular supporters, and visitors for your incredible support. Your contributions have made a huge difference and taken us further than we could have ever imagined!

Looking ahead to 2025, we’re excited to share our new project, Building a school in Oltukai village. This has been a long-time dream for us, focused on helping Maasai children, especially orphans and those from underprivileged backgrounds.

WHY THIS PROJECT MATTERS.

1. Support for underprivileged children: Finding sponsors for kids in the village is a challenge, and sometimes sponsorships stop due to unforeseen circumstances. This leaves kids without the opportunity to continue their education. A free school will ensure that these children can learn without interruptions.

2. A brighter future for all kids: Many Maasai children dream of going to school but don’t have the chance. A community school will provide education to all children in the village, giving them hope for a better future.

3. Preserving Maasai culture: With the world rapidly changing, we risk losing our unique Maasai traditions and identity. By introducing cultural studies led by community elders, we aim to pass on our wisdom, values, and traditions to the next generation.

We invite everyone to join us in this journey to create a brighter future for these children. Together, we can make this dream a reality and share the joy of building a better tomorrow.

Our campaign has started! You can join and support us by donating just $1, and together, we can make it happen. The link is in our bio and on our website!
