We're proud to see Books For Africa Board Member Jote Taddese and University of St. Thomas professor Dr. Manjeet Rege recognized for their shared commitment to expanding educational opportunity through books, technology, and innovation.

Together, they're helping build stronger learning communities by connecting students in Africa with the resources they need to succeed. From advancing AI education to leading literacy initiatives that have already delivered more than 110,000 books to Ethiopia through the Partnership for Literacy project, their work is creating lasting change.

Congratulations to Jote and Dr. Rege on this well-deserved recognition, and thank you for demonstrating how collaboration can transform lives through education.

Tuesday, July 21st, 2026, marked another impactful milestone at TEACH! 🌿

We conducted a successful training session on Biochar production, application, and its key relevance to agriculture, the environment, and the economy.

Interestingly, the participants had an average age of 45+ years—a clear indicator that older generations are actively embracing and adapting to circular economy principles! 📈

It is never too late for the younger generation to step up and adopt circular economy models. Let’s start learning and building today!
