Since last March, adults have been coming together in our evening classes to learn the life-changing skills of reading and writing. With the incredible dedication of Tekla, our inspiring teacher, these sessions have become much more than just lessons—they’re opening doors to new possibilities.

The enthusiasm and motivation of our participants amaze us every day! Many can now read fluently and are excited to put their newfound skills to use. Some are even starting to explore ways to earn a small income with what they've learned! Tekla is by their side every step of the way, guiding them on this journey of growth and empowerment.

We can't wait to see what amazing things lie ahead!

For a few weeks now, there’s been a little village shop right beside the school that’s already buzzing with activity! The shop is stocked with essential basic food items, refreshing soft drinks, and fresh produce straight from the garden!

The shop is always evolving to meet the needs of the school and the residents, and we’re thrilled to see the joy of everyone being able to shop close to home. This is more than just a convenience; it’s a step towards a stronger, more self-sustaining community!

A Dream Within Reach!

In an incredible turn of events, we received a generous donation from a foundation, bringing us closer to our dream of a second building! We’re planning a dining room with a kitchen, and, in time, we hope to add another classroom.

Since the start of the year, our students have been enjoying lunch at school, greatly boosting their focus and energy. However, they currently eat outside, where it’s dusty, hot, and challenging during rainy weather. A dining hall will offer shelter and double as a space for community meetings and events—a true necessity, not a luxury!

We’re aiming to complete the roof before the November rains, giving us time to tackle the rest. Thank you to everyone who believes in this mission. Every bit of support helps us bring this vision to life!
