Compact F3, to the Agricultural Marketing Cooperative Societies(AMCOS) of Masangula, Itumpi Mix, and Mbilidno.

The objective is to enhance coffee production among farmers in the Songwe region.�*

📣 SRE Project has been producing MSE subject educational radio content for secondary students since 2022 to strengthen secondary education capabilities.
To check whether students are listening to the produced Happy Radio Class for actual and utilizing the radio for studying, 1st listenership tracking this year was conducted for two weeks.
For the objectivity of the survey, 20 non-pilot schools (16 Unguja and 4 Pemba) in Zanzibar were targeted, and a total of 2,000 secondary school students participated in the survey.
SRE team will check the listening rate through analysis and promote broader to increase the academic ability of students.

📣 In February, the results of the Form 4 of 2023 national exam were announced.
Good Neighbors visitied four of the best performing secondary schools among 20 SRE project pilot schools in Zanzibar and celebrated them with certificates and gifts.
The schools with the best performance are as follows.
📍Mlimani Matemwe secondary school
📍Bambi secondary school
📍Bumbuwini secondary school
📍Mtopepo secondary school

We are expecting to have more schools to get this best performance schools certificate in next time.

📣 Good Neighbors has organized a local expertise training in Radio production for the Radio team that has taken place at KMEC from 19th Feb to 23rd Feb 2024.

The training covered all important areas for Radio production including script writing and reviewing, Marketing, Media house management in educational content production.

Through this training, as an expert, KMEC Radio production team has been developed their skill with knowledge, skills, and expertise to capacitate their abilities in their assigned responsibilities.

In its third year, this training initiative not only focused on enhancing their technical skills but also emphasized support purpose and sustainability of media production for education.

KMEC radio team having developed production skill is been producing HRC, HEQ with Good Neighbors for 3 years, and it is looking forward to releasing the new contents of 2024 for secondary students.📣

📣 Celebrating the New Year, Good Neighbors Country Director Ms. Soni Jung, visited E-learning room at the National Library at Maisara, Zanzibar, in January.

Through a meeting with Zanzibar National Library Board Director Ms. Ulfat under by MoEVT, Ms. Soni Jung discussed the agenda of the importance of online education through E-learning space.

Since its opening in November of 2023 marking International Children’s Day, the library has had an average of more than 10 students visit every day to study Happy Radio Class through wireless headphones.

We strongly recommend visiting the library and studying anytime!

On 24th and 27th January 2024 project has conducted visit to Park in Dar Es Salam to learn more about New emerging technologies in Education (Virtual and Augmented Reality, Arduino, Makey, 3D printing), Chemical reactions and puzzles.
100 students and 6 teachers from and Fukayosi Secondary School district participated in the visit session.
