Good Neighbors International (GNI) has Country Offices in 30 field countries. Good Neighbors Tanzania (GNTZ) has 3 operating offices - with the GNTZ Head Office in Dar es Salaam, GNTZ Regional Office in Mwanza and the GNTZ Saemaul Office in Dodoma. Good Neighbors Tanzania was registered in Tanzania in 2005. Good Neighbors Tanzania works with villagers, community leaders, committee members, village
government, and local government for community development projects in the areas of health, education, water & sanitation, child rights, good governance, participatory leadership & capacity building, and income generation, amongst others. These programs are funded by international donors and Good Neighbors Child Sponsorship Programs. GNTZ Head Office in Dar es Salaam is working in 9 Community Development Project (CDP) sites: Pwani, Ali Mau, Madale, Msimbazi Tabata, Kigamboni, Salasala, Bagamoyo CDP sites in Dar es Salaam; Pangawe and Mkundi sites in Morogoro; and Lindi. GNTZ HO in Dar es Salaam also operates the Rafiki Day Care Centre and the Tegeta Vocational Training School. GNTZ Regional Office in Mwanza operates the Neglected Tropical Disease (NTD) Clinic in Mwanza and conducts health education, outreach, and drug administration for NTDs in Kome Island in Sengerema district in partnership with the Tanzania National Institute for Medical Research. GNTZ Dodoma office is the Cooperating Partner for the Saemaul Zero Hunger Communities Project in Tanzania. The Saemaul Zero Hunger Communities project is a World Food Programme pilot project implemented by Good Neighbors International, and funded by the Government of the Republic of Korea. Objectives of the Saemaul project are to support the institutionalization and community capacity building for sustainability of development projects, good governance, income generation activities and food security. We are working in 3 villages - Fufu, Suli, Chiboli in Chamwino District, Dodoma region.
