Greetings District Leaders, Fellow Lions & Leos

*"The sparkle in a child’s eyes is where true happiness resides.”*

On 18th October, the Lions Club of DSM Infinity visited Upendo Orphanage, where we distributed gift packets to 32 children. Each packet contained a painting book, crayons, a packet of chocolate biscuits, a packet of crisp and a packet of healthy coconut cookies.

In addition, we handed over a variety of games and toys for the children to share and enjoy together. The children were overjoyed to receive these gifts, and their smiles made the day truly special.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our generous donor and to all club members who participated in this meaningful activity.

To mark International Youth Day, The Lions Club of DSM Infinity carried out a service activity by donating 20 chairs to the Right Way Rehab Center in Chanika. The centre was in great need of these chairs, and we trust they will be of great benefit to the youths, providing them a comfortable place to sit.

Dear Leaders, Lions, and Leos,

"The greatest example of love is service to others."

Members of Lions Club of Dsm Infinity Voluntarily attended 3 days eye camp from 7th - 9th Aug 25', in Morogoro region of Mzizima Lions Club. There we carried out 2 activities as follows:-

1. Hunger Activity -Served 500 packs of biscuits and juice to children attending the camp during these 3 days.
2. Humanitarian: On 9th August, we distributed 23 hampers to post-delivery mothers at Saba Saba Health Centre. Each hamper consisted of a 2-litre flask, nappies, khanga, soap, Vaseline, wet wipes, a towel, and healthy snack bites. This is our club’s signature project.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our donors for their generous contributions that made these acts of service possible and also thank and appreciate the presence of RC Lion Sabira Saleh, guests, club members and of course our young generation of Leos-to-be.

"UJI WA UPENDO"
As part of our ongoing commitment to service and community nourishment, Lions Club of DSM Infinity proudly continued its “Uji wa Upendo” initiative on Wednesday 23rd July 2025. On this day, our members served warm and nutritious Uji (porridge) to all 1,600 students of Shule ya Msingi Vikunai, bringing not only nourishment but also smiles and comfort to the young hearts we care so deeply about.

This meaningful project, launched earlier this month, has already begun creating a positive impact. Our mission is not just to feed—but to foster hope, health, and happiness among schoolchildren in underserved areas.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our donors whose generosity fuels this noble cause, and to our dedicated Lions members whose presence and passion make every service day truly special.

This Lionistic year, Lions Club of DSM Infinity has proudly initiated an Uji (porridge) serving activity at Shule ya Msingi Vikunai, located in the Temeke area, which has over 1,600 students. On 18th July Friday we officially started this activity of " *UJI WA UPENDO"*

As we begin this impactful journey, we have committed to serving Uji four times a month. This will be an ongoing initiative, and we aim to gradually increase the frequency as resources allow.

A heartfelt thank you to our generous donors for supporting this cause and to our dedicated members who step out to serve and make a difference in the lives of these young generation to come.

Dear Leaders, Lions and Leos,

"Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success."

Yesterday, on the 13th of May, Lions Club of DSM Infinity held their monthly meeting whereby we had surprise visitation from our DG Habil Khanbhai.

DG enlightened us with the knowledge of Leadership role and gave ideas how to do service activities along with fellowship.

With Teamwork, Hardwork and good leadership, we will take all that we learnt from yesterday and achieve our Goals.

We thank DG and all the members who attended the meeting.
