𝗢𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 MS-TCDC 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 International Republican Institute (IRI) 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝘇𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲.

Our team member Emmanuel Elias catched up with Prof. John E. Ruhangisa a distinguished Tanzanian legal scholar, former High Court Judge, and founding Registrar of the East African Court of Justice (EACJ).

Prof. John E. Ruhangisa facilitated a session that focused on access to justice in Tanzania which is paramount to understanding the judicial system in Tanzania.

Our team is representing Amani Labs – Youth for Peaceful Communities, a bold youth-led project in the United Republic of Tanzania that emerged from the IRI Youth Ideathon Hackathon held in January 2026.

🙌 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 convened by MS-TCDC and the International Republican Institute (IRI) Tanzania office.

🥳 We are excited to be represented by our monitoring , evaluation and learning team member, Emmanuel Elias from Amani Labs - Youth for Peaceful Communities is a bold youth-led project in the United Republic of Tanzania that was part of the IRI Youth Ideathon Hackathon mid January 2026.

The eight day immersive fellowship is taking place this week from 01-08 June 2026 at the MS Training Centre for Development Cooperation (MS TCDC) in Arusha region focused on democratic governance, ethical and digital leadership and conflict-resilient leadership.

We look forward to take part in hands-on Leadership Innovation Labs, design community solutions and compete for mini-grants to implement our ideas with mentorship and support.
