𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗚𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗡 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 - 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗛 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗜𝗦 𝗛𝗨𝗦𝗦𝗔𝗜𝗡 𝗗𝗦𝗠 🇹🇿

In the month of March, the Who Is Hussain? (DarEsSalaam) chapter successfully carried out impactful initiatives aimed at supporting those in need.

We donated two (2) wheelchairs to individuals in need, helping improve mobility and daily living. In addition, in collaboration with MAZ Students, we installed four (4) water coolers across key institutions:

- Mwandege Secondary School (one unit)
- Ocean Road Cancer Institute Hospital (two units)
- Muhimbili Hospital – Children’s Cancer Wing (one unit)

On 14th of March, Who Is Hussain? - Dar es Salaam had the honor of hosting 92 beautiful little souls at Two Spoons Restaurant.

It was more than just a meal, it was an evening filled with pure joy, laughter, and the warmth of community.

From Heena to exciting games, slides, and trampolines, the children had a space to simply be kids—carefree, happy, and loved. They were then treated to a buffet, offering delicious meals and treats they rarely get to enjoy. With tea, water, and cold drinks to refresh them and ice cream to end their evening on a sweet note, their smiles said it all.

Before they left, each child received a goodie bag filled with essential items:

✔️ Stationery
✔️ Water bottles
✔️ Crisps

Their eyes lit up with happiness, and their innocent smiles were the most beautiful sight.

Who Is Hussain? - Dar es Salaam chapter organises IFTAR WITH 100 ORPHANS in the name of Ali Ibn Abi Talib, who is also known as the Father of Orphans.

The Orphans will be served with delicious BBQ buffet and other mouth-watering food items together with fun and games activity and will leave with a goodie bag to bring a big smile on their innocent faces.

On 25th February 2026, Who Is Hussain? - Dar es Salaam Chapter, in collaboration with:

- Imam Hasan Center - Sydney, Australia,
- Imam Hasan Foundation,
- Arrahman Benevolent Society, and
- Bilal Muslim Mission Tanzania,

distributed 100 food baskets to ladies from Mbande, Mwanandege, and Manzese.

This was more than a distribution, it was a collective commitment to compassion, dignity, and service to humanity.

Through this partnership, we were able to reach women who are carrying heavy responsibilities in silence, ensuring that relief reached the homes that needed it most.

This Ramadan 2026, Who Is Hussain? - Dar es Salaam chapter distributed 600 food baskets to families in Sungwi, Mkuranga, Chang’ombe (widows), Wazo Hill and at Ali Ibn Abi Talib Orphanage.

For us, this is more than distribution, it is living the message of Hussain ibn Ali: standing for compassion, dignity, and service to humanity.

Every basket carried that spirit. Every home we visited reminded us why this work matters.

To mark the start of the new academic year, the Who Is Hussain? - Dar es Salaam Chapter carried out its annual back-to-school support initiative, ensuring students received essential learning materials before schools officially reopened.

This January, a total of 1,674 school bags each equipped with counter books, pens, compass boxes, and water bottles were distributed to students across Msongola and Kisarawe, communities with a high concentration of underprivileged families.

The outreach covered six secondary schools in Msongola: Mvuti, Gunatra, Kitonga, Mbondole, Mkera, and Sangara Secondary Schools,
as well as Sungwi Primary School in Kisarawe.

This initiative, carried out consistently over the years, reflects our commitment to education, dignity, and equal opportunity.

Inspired by the timeless legacy of Hussain Ibn Ali who stood for compassion, justice, and service to humanity, we continue to support young learners at the most important moment: the beginning of their journey.

On 15th July 2025, the Who Is Hussain Dar es Salaam Chapter, in collaboration with CareSpace.KSIJ, Damu Salama, Ebrahim Haji, and KSIJ Dar, organized had it's monthly blood drive at Ebrahim Haji.

Through the generosity, we collected 29 pints of blood - with the potential to save up to 87 lives (as each pint can help save up to three people)
