A4DG at the Youth Commitment & Accountability Forum
This past week, Action for Democratic Governance (A4DG) was delighted to participate in the Youth Commitment & Accountability Forum organized by Mulika Tanzania.
It was an inspiring space where young people, civil society, and other stakeholders came together to unpack and analyze commitments that policymakers have made to youth at the local, national, and international levels. A4DG was proud to share our experience and expertise on tracking these commitments and discussing practical ways to monitor their implementation.
The forum reminded us that commitments only create real change when they are put into action. By following up on their status and operationalization, we can strengthen accountability, ensure promises translate into meaningful outcomes, and amplify young people's role in shaping policies that affect their lives.
Together, we continue to champion youth-led accountability, civic engagement, and democratic governance.
