World Cancer Day | 4 February 🎗️

Cancer is not just a diagnosis.
It is a deeply human journey that tests strength, resilience, and hope.

Behind every report is a person.
Behind every patient is a family.
Behind every survivor is courage.

Today, we are reminded that many cancers are preventable, early detection saves lives, and timely, affordable, equitable care can change outcomes.

No one should be denied care because of where they live, what they earn, or who they are.

As doctors, caregivers, policymakers, and citizens, our responsibility goes beyond treatment. It includes awareness, prevention, compassion, and standing beside those who fight silently every day.

Let us commit to:
• Promoting early screening
• Reducing stigma and fear
• Supporting patients and survivors
• Strengthening cancer care for all

Together, we can close the care gap and turn awareness into action.

Today, we mark World NTD Day 2026.

"UNITE. ACT. ELIMINATE"

We’re reminded of something powerful:

👉 Neglected tropical diseases are preventable and treatable.

But ending them depends on more than medicines alone. High-quality, trusted data is essential to ensure the right people are reached, progress is accurately measured, and no one is missed or counted twice.

With the right tools, partnerships, and political will, we can be the generation that ends NTDs, ensuring no one is left behind simply because they’re hard to reach.

💪 On , let’s neglected tropical diseases and accelerate progress towards a healthier, more equitable future for all.
