On 15 August 2026, we proudly handed over 80 bunk beds benefiting 160 girls at Nakwa Secondary School and Manyara Girls Secondary School, with Hon. Emmanuel Khambay, Member of Parliament for Babati Constituency, as the Guest of Honor.
Special thanks to our partners Mikuyu Tanzania for Supporting this miningful steps to ward promoting girls dignity, well being, and a better learning environment.

Over two days, the Impact Lead Tanzania team and Board came together for a meaningful safeguarding training. We strengthened our understanding and renewed our commitment to protecting children, vulnerable persons, and everyone we work with, while creating safe and respectful spaces for all. Protecting children and vulnerable persons is our first priority whilst working with communities.

During Nane Nane Farmers Exhibition, Lead Farmers and Local Service Providers from Chemchem supported by Impact Lead Tanzania and Mikuyu Tanzania had a great opportunity to visit Arusha, connect with farmers from across Tanzania, and learn different farming techniques and innovations.
This year’s theme, “Tambua Soko, Ongeza Uzalishaji, Tenda Lengo la Dira 2025,” reminds us that knowing the market and improving production go hand in hand.

Today, we celebrate farmers the backbone of our food systems, economies, and the development of our communities. Your dedication, resilience, and hard work continue to feed our families and drive our societies forward.

Early this week, Ward Education Officers ( WEOs) Head Teachers, and Assistant Head Teachers came together to review the progress of our training program across six schools in Babati.

As the Elimisha Walimu Program moves into the implementation phase, it is encouraging to see schools putting the knowledge and strategies from the training into practice. These follow-up discussions provide an opportunity to reflect on achievements, address challenges, and strengthen our collective commitment to improving teaching and learning outcomes.

We appreciate the dedication of all education leaders and teachers who continue to make this program successfully.

Our Trees for Life project beneficiaries, Injanito Youth Group, received a practical training session from our Finance and Administration Officer ( FAO) , Ibrahim Mainda , on effective financial record keeping.
The training covered:
How to record income and expenses using a cash book.
How to keep track of debts and follow up on repayments.
How to prepare and share financial reports with group members. How to ensure transparency and responsible management of group funds.
Strong records build strong groups. When communities manage their finances well, they create a solid foundation for sustainable growth and long-term impact.

What was once bare and exhausted land in Chemchem Village is now producing healthy, organic products. This is the power of the Farming for Regeneration Project proving that when we restore the soil, we restore livelihoods.
Through compost, biochar, and mulching, farmers are now harvesting healthy, 100% organic sweet potatoes while rebuilding soil fertility for future generations.

This is more than a harvest it's evidence that regenerative agriculture works.

A special thank you to our patner Mikuyu Tanzania for making this transformation possible and for bringing smiles back to farmers' faces.
