Our students recently represented St Jude's and the Arusha region at the Young Scientists Tanzania (YST) National Exhibition 2026 in Dar es Salaam and returned with two national awards. 🎉

Out of 1,340 projects submitted by schools across Tanzania, only 45 qualified for the National Exhibition. St Jude's was proud to have two projects among them.

- 2nd Runner-Up in the Physical, Mathematical and Sciences Category (Soil Screening Machine)

- 3rd Runner-Up in the Biological Science Category
(Fortress Wall in Bedbug Control)

Both teams received trophies, medals and cash prizes for their achievements. These projects show how our students are putting their knowledge into practice and exploring solutions to challenges beyond the classroom.

We are incredibly proud of the students for their fantastic achievement! 💙👏

Our recent Cultural Day was a wonderful opportunity for our students to come together, share their heritage and learn more about the traditions represented within our school community! 💙

With this year's theme, Echoes of our Tradition, students
explored culture through traditional dances, art, storytelling and fashion. Bringing their creativity and unique perspectives to the celebration.

Every journey begins with a first step 💙

Following the scholarship application process, our new Standard 1 and 2 students who successfully progressed through the academic assessment and home visits for poverty assessment are now moving forward into their probation period at St Jude's.

This is the beginning of an exciting new chapter filled with learning, new friendships and opportunities to grow.

We look forward to following their journey and celebrating the milestones ahead.

There's something special about seeing a lesson come to life. 💚

Our Form 5 agriculture students are getting hands-on experience as they harvest vegetables grown through their agricultural studies.

From planting and caring for crops to seeing the results of their work, students are learning the value of patience, teamwork and practical skills.

At St Jude's, learning extends beyond the classroom, and sometimes, it starts in the soil.

Our recent Career Day brought students together with professionals from a variety of industries to explore different career pathways. 💛

The event featured interactive career talks, exhibition booths showcasing different professions, mentorship sessions and engaging Q&A discussions.

Students had the opportunity to connect directly with professionals, ask questions and gain valuable insights into the skills and experiences needed for future success.
