At Nimo Africa, we believe that sometimes children just need to have fun, and we love getting to help facilitate that. We love seeing kids laughing, cheering each other on, making friends, and simply enjoying the chance to be kids.

We always love to come to this school and see the love and care the community has for each other and their students. From singing and dancing to cheering them on, it was so special to see the community come together to celebrate this graduating class.

We were so proud to celebrate the first Class 7 graduating class from Engusero Primary School. We loved watching the whole community come together to celebrate them. Younger classmates sang “Hongera” (congratulations) to the Class 7 graduates.

Hongera, Class 7!

At Nimo Africa, we believe there is a huge benefit to playing sports. It increases healthy habits, sportsmanship, dedication, friendships, focus, and school attendance. And most importantly, it gives students a chance to just be kids, have fun, and play.

Nimo Africa is currently offering internship opportunities! We are looking for students and recent graduates interested in working with young people and helping lead Nimo Clubs at local schools. We are especially looking for interns who can bring their own interests and skills to the program, including gardening, debate, teaching, career guidance, music, sports, arts, or other talents.

Our internship program gives recent/current students hands-on experience by mentoring students, sharing their skills, and helping create fun, meaningful Nimo Club activities.

Apply by September 15th:

Building confidence and giving opportunities to lead is a huge part of what we do. We believe in student led movement where those involved feel empowered to lift their hands and their voices to grow, learn, and lead!

We were so excited to start Nimo Club at Noondoto Secondary School and see students excited to engage and lead. We are looking forward to the growth and accomplishments this school will do!
