As the world marks Menstrual Hygiene Day on May 28, Comfy Care12 is grateful to have been welcomed to visit a school in Minjingu on 30 May 2026.

The visit will include menstrual health education and support for students, made possible through the generosity of Comfy Care12 friend Carol and her friends in the USA.

A very warm welcome greeted the Comfy Care12 and .africa teams during a recent visit to Nondoto and Engusero schools in Longido, where 155 girls took part in menstrual health education and support sessions.

Comfy Care12 and .africa recently delivered menstrual health education, and reusable sanitary pads to 155 girls at Nondoto and Engusero schools in Longido.

At the start of each session the girls were shy, but their curiosity quickly took over and they were eager to share stories and ask questions in a supportive setting. They looked very happy to receive their sanitary pads at the end of the education session.

We’re also very grateful to our generous supporter Carol, her friends at St Matthew’s Lutheran Church, and her wider network in the US.

At the end of this month, Comfy Care12 will visit 155 girls in Arusha–Longido, delivering menstrual health education and support at Nondoto and Engusero schools.
This work is made possible by the generosity of Carol from White Plains, New York, along with members of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church and her wider network of friends. Their support will directly reach girls who need it most.
We’re also grateful to our friends at Nimo Africa for providing transport and helping us reach these communities.

A wonderful friend of Comfy Care12, Carol from USA, recently shared our work with her church and community in White Plains, New York.
What started as a simple presentation grew into something special. In just a few weeks, Carol and her community raised an incredible $6,000.
“I was very, very pleased, grateful and humbled by the generosity of my community,” Carol said.
The Comfy Care12 team feel exactly the same.
This generosity will fund menstrual health education and reusable sanitary pads for 1,400 girls in rural Tanzania, giving them the knowledge, confidence, and support to stay in school and make choices about their future.
To Carol, members of St. Matthews Lutheran Church and other friends: thank you. This donation is life-changing.
