Girls transformation stage into women when they're 18 years and above in maasai community is a very important stage.

This transformation includes a big ceremony with blessings, one to two months of maasai oral education on how to be a matured woman and a future mother.

It's better nowadays hence it's not alongside with FGM but only supper beautiful MAASAI rituals, warship and culture presentation as well as preservation

On the world's biodiversity day today, our message to all of us here and out there is to keep the earth alive. Planting just trees, fixing badlands won't be enough we really need to emphasize on air protection agains pollution, sea and water bodies preservation as well as ending wars that cause difference explosions which have been a big part of environmental disturbance and global warming up.

Yes a well equal and stable community starts from grass roots.
Boys and girls at their very young age should be kept together, taught to make good friends and understand everyone values. This will not only raise awareness but it will impact in a social welfare relationship between girls and boys towards the best well gender balanced society.

2024 the transformative year.
Menstrual health hygiene and access to health quality sanitary pads to Maasai girls still the highest need to our MAASAI girls.

In Monduli where we are so based on all 20 wards with 72 primary schools and 20 secondary schools , menstrual health and hygiene is still nit being said on that emphasis as it should.

This massive community of young girls face a lot of difficulties during their menstrual period to get sanitary pads is still a big challenge in Monduli due to so many challenges especially poverty, cultural issues, geographic hardship, lack of access to health and quality pads.

Due to these challenges, many girls in Monduli drop out from schools, fail to do their daily tasks due to fear lack of confidence due feelings of less protection due to menstrual poverty.

We've been doing our best but yet at grassroots level, we wish to reach out to all Maasai girls and make them comfortable, safe and free by giving them sanitary pads as well as menstrual health education and self awareness to our girl.

This is inspiring and proof of courage to all maasai girls. If any of our MAASAI blossoms are given freedom of choice then they can choose themselves very well for the benefits of the community. Laizer is the best outstanding journalist, news reporter and analysist from the MAASAI community of Monduli, apart from being the MAASAI JOURNALIST and outstanding figure for many to follow she stay as a book to read and a path to follow towards attaining girls freedom in their lives choices towards their greener future. The maasai community still holds strong norms and culture that still undermine girls from choosing themselves, a lot was done yet a lot have to be done to reach to the point of girls and women's freedom in our community.
