Dear friends and Supporters, Happy New Year.

Thanks for thinking about us and for giving the Gift of a Brighter Future: Support The MAKE Hub today!

Imagine a childhood without play, without learning, without a single friend. For 5-year-old Naboli, this was his reality. Before The MAKE Hub opened, his days were spent alone, rearing cattle in the bush. Like many children in his community, he had no access to preschool or daycare—no safe, structured space to learn, grow, and simply be a child. This lack of guidance and exposure to unsafe situations often held these children back from a brighter future.e of friendship, focus, and creativity. He made new friends and shared in the joy of discovering and creating together. Today, Naboli dreams of becoming an artist, with hopes of sharing his creations with the world.

Everything changed for Naboli when he joined The MAKE Hub. Every day, he entered a space that welcomed him warmly and encouraged him to explore new interests. For the first time, Naboli discovered something that truly sparked his imagination: drawing on the ground. With guidance from caring facilitators, he began crafting whimsical figures, detailed models, and expressive works of art. This new passion ignited his confidence, filled him with pride, and gave him a profound sense of purpose.
Through the Hub, Naboli also learned the value of friendship, focus, and creativity. He made new friends and shared in the joy of discovering and creating together. Today, Naboli dreams of becoming an artist, with hopes of sharing his creations with the world.

Naboli’s journey is a testament to the transformative power of The MAKE Hub, but he’s not the only one who has benefited. Dozens of other children who would otherwise be left to rear cattle or roam the streets now have a safe, nurturing space to express themselves, build essential skills, and dream big. The MAKE Hub has given Naboli and so many others the foundation for a brighter future from their earliest years.
Yet, there are still children like Naboli who are waiting for a chance to join. With your donation, we can ensure that no child is left wandering the streets, missing out on the joy, safety, and learning that The MAKE Hub provides for free.

Please donate today and be a changemaker, helping to bring Naboli’s friends off the streets. Join us to support Malengo Development Foundation (MDF) and help us raise $50,000 to provide 150 children with free access to The MAKE Hub for this entire year of 2026
Each $200 will support one child for a full year, covering:
• One Play Bag with play and learning materials for each child to use at home.
• A dedicated early years facilitator to guide and support their learning and growth.
• Nutritious food at the Hub to keep them energized and ready to play.
