Health equity is a critical pillar of Indigenous transitional justice. This lecture examines the findings of Norway’s TRC Report regarding the healthcare experiences of the Sámi people. By sharing concrete examples from medical services, the speaker will discuss the systemic challenges and historical traumas embedded within the healthcare system. The session will explore how to rebuild trust and forge a path toward systemic equity and healing.
