Our annual Girl Scouts Going Places summer book club officially launches June 1! Girl Scouts can spend the summer exploring new worlds, discovering favorite characters and tracking their reading adventures all season long.

We are excited to see all of our Girl Scouts at our end of year party and bridging ceremony 🌈

RSVPs are set, menu is complete, troops are getting ready, and this Saturday we say goodbye to a phenomenal year.

The end of the school year is close, and many of our troops are having their last meetings. Let’s see what they got up to!

🌸 Daisy troop 04 earned the Outdoor Art Maker badge. After completing activities indoor and outdoor, the girls enjoyed pizza at the park.
⛺️ Brownie troop 14 earned the Eco Camper badge. The girls learned how to pitch a tent and finished the meeting with s’mores.
🥾 brownie troop 06 earned the Trail Adventure badge by hiking up Battleship Rock. Along the trail, the girls carefully observed nature and searched for things they could discover along the way.
🥟 Junior troop 03 used their last meeting of the year to discuss the upcoming end of the year party and bridging ceremony. One of the girls is currently working on her True North award so she taught the troop about otters. They finished with a dumpling lunch together.
💰 Junior troop 10 earned the Business Owner badge today. They brainstormed what goes into starting a business and what makes a business successful. Each girl got play money to invest and decided which businesses they would want to support.

A phenomenal weekend for our Girl Scouts!

A fantastic, sunny weekend for our troops ☀️

🍃 Brownie troop 14 earned the Outdoor Art badge.
They had a girl-led exciting scavenger hunt to explore and observe nature. They were reminded to be kind to nature by not picking plants and to leave no trace behind. The girls came up with a “nature themed” nickname and decorated their name sheet with a leaf embossing activity.
🏃🏻‍♀️ Junior troop 10 earned the Staying Fit badge by practicing push ups and handstands together. They also learned about the Food Pyramid and how to read a nutrition label. They then conveniently ignored all the healthy tips they just learned and indulged in some ice cream to celebrate a 10th birthday.
🏎️ Junior troop 03 learned about alternative energy sources and put together solar-powered cars. The weather was on their side, and the very sunny day made for very fast cars!

What a fun range of activities, Girl Scouts!

A fantastic Spring Fair bake sale today! 🍪🧁💚

We are thankful for all the families who generously donated their baked goods and treats for this event. We are also thankful for our fearless troop leaders who do so much for our Girl Scouts. Well done, everyone! 👏🏻

One last heartfelt thank you to Taipei American School’s PTA for always welcoming us during their community fair. Thank you ! ☘️

Last OCMT meeting yesterday. We didn’t get a photo in time with everyone present, but these are some of the amazing women that make USA Girl Scouts Taipei run smoothly.

Bake sale this weekend! 🧁🍪🥨

We will have a booth at TAS’s Spring Fair all day this Saturday. Please come find us, your support helps all of our troops, leaders, and makes us a stronger community. ☘️

Outdoor AND indoor fun for our Girl Scouts this weekend! ☘️

🌳 Brownie troop 14 earned the Brownie Trail Adventure badge. They went on a hike to Zhizhan Cultural and Ecological Garden making sure to “leave no trace.” The topped off the experience with a visit to the Wild Bird Rehabilitation Center, and they might have tried teaching a Crested Myna (a bird that is able to repeat some words) how to say “6 7”!
🧰 Junior troop 03 is working on their Bronze Award, which is to build the Council’s bridge for all bridging ceremonies. They cut wood with different saws, drilled hinges, and sanded the whole piece. Next, painting and coating it!

A great day with friends, that’s what Girl Scouts is all about! 💚
