TAGHI為依法設立、非以營利為目的之公益性社會團體，以促進全球衛生之推廣、研究與發展；從事全球衛生相關之國際交流與倡議；增進會員間與國內外相關機構、學術團體及個人之聯繫與合作；以及推動全球衛生相關課程之發展，並培育人才為宗旨。
