高雄市電子商務協會於2002年11月成立，由謝長峻先生擔任第一、二屆理事長。2010年高雄縣市合併改制,第三屆理事長爲高雄應用科技大學校長方俊雄。第四屆理事長爲高雄應用科技大學校長楊正宏。第五屆為高雄應用科技大學校長楊慶煜。第六、七屆理事長爲高雄應用科技大學、第一科技大學、海洋科技大學，三校整併後的第1、2任校長楊慶煜。爾後均由國立高雄科技大學當屆校長擔任高雄市電子商務協會理事長為慣例。
*秘書長（兼總幹事）聘任高雄科技大學三校合併後第一屆校友總會理事莊尚諭擔任。
