May 2025 Events: Eco-Creative Communities: Environmental Practice through Dialogue and Art

In today's world, where climate change and environmental sustainability have become critical global issues, how to deeply root the concepts of "green energy, energy regeneration, and energy conservation and carbon reduction" in people's hearts and transform them into practical actions has become an important societal challenge. Literature and art possess a powerful influence; they can enable people to understand environmental issues more profoundly through emotional and creative approaches, and further inspire action.
The Association for the Advancement of Educational Equity in Taiwan (AEET) has long been promoting community development in Taipei City. Through the World Café model, it facilitates community residents' participation in discussions on various public issues. This time, we aim to integrate environmental protection, literature, and art. By employing in-depth dialogue through the World Café, we will enable participants to discuss environmental and energy issues. Subsequently, in the green art and literary creation workshop, these ideas will be transformed into artworks. Finally, through community exhibitions and electronic showcases, we aim to expand environmental action from the individual to society, promoting the dissemination and practice of green culture.
We welcome individuals from all walks of life, as long as they are 16 years of age or older and capable of participating in communication and discussion, to join for free!
This is a democratic forum event, and the organizer kindly requests all participants to respect each other's viewpoints and statements. To understand the operating rules of the AEET World Café, please refer to the video below.
