賺錢是企業生存所必需,也是績效與績效評量的成果。但賺錢本身並非績效。前文提過,企業的目的在於創造顧客、滿足顧客;那才是績效,才是企業賺錢的意義。管理層做為領導人、決策者、組織價值設定者,其工作和功能(以及建立組織的目的和基本理由),都是讓員工發揮生產力,讓個體的技能、期望與信念,透過合作達成共同的成就。
Making money is essential for a business's survival and is the result of performance and performance evaluation. However, making money itself is not performance. As previously mentioned, the purpose of a business is to create customers and satisfy them; that is performance and the meaning behind a business's profitability.
