本法人是一個非營利性質社會福利公益組織，會址位於偏遠地區的花蓮縣壽豐鄉壽豐村壽豐老街，西倚中央山脈，地處木瓜溪以南，毗鄰鯉魚潭風景區，花東鐵路貫穿於東，東華大學座落於北。本法人自民國91年創會以來，一直關心並積極舉辦各項公益活動，因為我們深知除了政府機關的施政建設外，民間團體的投入參與更是責無旁貸。本法人原名稱為「社團法人中華民國優格文化教育推廣學會(YGCES)」，為順利拓展社會福利服務工作，遂於民國112年更名為
「社團法人優格社會福利服務學會(YGSWS)」。
