Junior Chamber International (JCI) Tobago is the ideal non-governmental organisation for young people to create positive IMPACT in Tobago. Yesterday, Saturday, September 19, 2026, JCI Tobago proudly participated in the International Coastal Cleanup, joining other organizations, volunteers and community stakeholders in taking action to protect Tobago’s beautiful coastline.

Working alongside fellow volunteers, our members helped remove litter and debris from the shoreline while contributing to the wider effort to promote cleaner beaches, healthier oceans and greater environmental responsibility.

The activity was another reminder that protecting our environment is a shared responsibility. When organizations and individuals come together around a common purpose, even simple actions can contribute to meaningful and lasting change. 🌱🌊

TOBAGO TO THE WORLD | BEYOND BORDERS

JCI Tobago is proud to celebrate our 2026 Executive Vice President, Khaon Tahyr Kent, as he represents JCI Tobago and Tobago on the international stage in South Korea.

Following his successful completion of the “Bridging Minds: A Global Leaders Academy for Peace” religious and cultural peace exchange programme, EVP Khaon received an invitation from our partner, the International Peace Youth Group (IPYG), a youth affiliate of Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL).

During his time in South Korea, he will participate in the 2026 Youth Peace Festival and activities surrounding the 12th Anniversary of the HWPL World Peace Summit, joining young delegates from more than 100 countries for peacebuilding discussions, cultural exchange, networking and volunteer initiatives.

This opportunity is about more than travelling beyond our shores. It represents the value of international collaboration, cultural understanding, youth leadership and creating meaningful connections across borders.

We are proud to see one of our leaders carrying the JCI Tobago name and the spirit of Tobago onto the global stage, while gaining experiences, knowledge and connections that can contribute to continued impact at home and throughout the JCI movement.
